Peace

You cannot separate the mission of God from the PROMISE of the Holy Spirit.

Our job is to “do what Jesus says”. Holy Spirit’s job is to teach and to remind

John 14:27-19
“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Your heart must not be troubled or fearful. You have heard Me tell you, ‘I am going away and I am coming to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I. I have told you now before it happens so that when it does happen you may believe.

The description of peace
“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives… John 14:27

Psalm 50:12
If I were hungry, I would not tell you,
for the world and everything in it is Mine.

The reason for peace
…Your heart must not be troubled or fearful. John 14:27

Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

The vision of peace
You have heard Me tell you, ‘I am going away and I am coming to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I. John 14:28

John 14
“I assure you: The one who believes in Me will also do the works that I do. And he will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father. John 14:12

The way to receive peace
I have told you now before it happens so that when it does happen you may believe.
John 14:29
