Kingdom Prayer

Kingdom Prayer

Kingdom – any place where God RULES and REIGNS

Glory – the MANIFEST presence of God; God REVEALED to us

“Missions exists because worship doesn’t” John Piper

I pray not only for these, but also for those who believe in Me through their message. May they all be one, as You, Father, are in Me and I am in You.
May they also be one in Us, so the world may believe You sent Me. I have given them the glory You have given Me. May they be one as We are one. I am in them and You are in Me.
May they be made completely one, so the world may know You have sent Me and have loved them as You have loved Me. John 17:20 -23

Unity in the church – The Gospel binds our hearts together

Unity is not an INDIVIDUAL pursuit; it should describe a COMMUNITY of believers

Unity is not the GOAL; it is a VEHICLE to bring GLORY to God

Father, I desire those You have given Me to be with Me where I am. Then they will see My glory, which You have given Me because You loved Me before the world’s foundation. John 17:24

Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him v because we will see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2

Righteous Father! The world has not known You. However, I have known You, and these have known that You sent Me. I made Your name known to them and will make it known,
so the love You have loved Me with may be in them and I may be in them. John 17:25-26

Salvation for the lost – The Gospel COMPELS us to GO

Lost means to be without PURPOSE or DIRECTION; to have no HOPE

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

For the wages of sin is death… Romans 6:23

God sent JESUS

But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us! Romans 5:8

Jesus sent the DISCIPLES to the WORLD

Then Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Matthew 28:18-20
